CREW report published reviewing the role of functioning wetlands

A report has just been published by CREW on "Moderating extremes in water availability in Scotland: a review of the role of functioning wetlands". The aim of the research was to review the role of functioning wetlands in moderating extremes in water availability in a Scottish context. A comprehensive assessment of the current and future buffering capacity to high and low water flows of the eighteen wetland types that occur in Scotland was undertaken.
